MIDS information element RecordedByID
Definition A list (concatenated and separated) of the globally unique identifier for the person, people, groups, or organizations responsible for recording the original Occurrence.
Purpose
Mapping Maps exactly to: dwc:recordedByID;
Applicable standard(s)/recommendation(s) Strongly recommended to use a globally unique persistent identifier from ORCID or Wikidata
Element identifier
Required (Biological/Geological/Paelaeontological) Yes (all)
Repeatable Yes. Multiple identifiers are likely for the same agent. See constraints
Constraints When there are multiple identifiers for the agent this element can be repeated as necessary.
