I think that https://github.com/s1n7ax/nvim-window-picker is an alternative (implemented in Lua) of vim-choosewin.

While nvim-window-picker is great an I use it myself with Neo-tree, it's not an alternative for vim-choosewin. Neither is winpick.nvim for that matter.

This plugin offers something that is often eschewed in neovim land - ability to navigate tabpages.
