Hello,

I generated a punch of users with auto generated passwords. Some passwords are working and some are not. All the users are generated correctly and after manually changing the password they can access the nextcloud instance.

Has someone experienced the same problem?

Thanks a lot for this good tool.

Thanks for your reply and your work.

I cannot remember, what the passwords looked like, which didn't work.

I am not sure, if I will use the tool the next time because without the possibility to delete or change users in bulk, we have to move to a identity management tool.

Kind regards and a big thank you to your for your amazing work!

With NC Usermanager V 2.0 bulk management is the goal.
Maybe give it a try, but a real IDP might be the right solution for you :-)
Kind regards.

I looked around and found some not working passwords:
X@_F"NqyyRQ3
!S>M<W89N7j#
k1_H=Z`KB4B]
+$;OxPT\9=.'
VMp@'~Ny*l"2
The following one I tried myself and it is indeed with a <, therefore this should be fine now.
_g^g<+:S!SI6

But only one from the above ones has a < or > maybe there is also a other problem...

Thanks also for the link to the nc-usermanager (it looks good, but we need to change user groups).
