Some skies working

Im new to this so if anything is obvious or i look dumb dont attack me please.
So i want some 1.8 skies for 1.20.1 and i am using fabric sky boxes. i stumbled across this mod and tried it out for myself. When i finally got it working, it would convert the packs just fine, but when i would put it in game only some of the textures work or in some cases none at all.

also the ones that do work end up being way more brighter then how they look on optifine, and sometimes the quality is ruined.
