navigation bar width sometimes limits readability #1279

Bug Report
Problematic behavior
When the subdoc name is too long, the name cannot be read in the navigation bar. The navigation bar cannot be increased in size. The users have a hard time finding the right doc. This especially is an issue, when having layered subdocs.
Expected behavior/code
It would be beneficial for the users to modify the width of the navigation bar with a handler.
Steps to Reproduce
Environment
- Docs version: 3.5.0
- Instance url: own deployment
Possible Solution
a handler like this one, can also be hidden.
