Running plugin with Strapi in a subdirectory

Hi all,
I am trying to get this plugin working, however it is not using the correct socket url. I think this is because of the fact that I'm running Strapi using a subdirectory (i.e. at www.example.com/strapi), rather than at the index (www.example.com). Is there a workaround for this?
