It would be nice to also support the zed-UE5 plugin in Ubuntu.

Use-Case

Anything else?

Thanks for taking an interest in our products!

Although there is no current plan to add Ubuntu support to our Unreal plugin, we are not completely against it.

If we see that's a very requested feature, we might consider it even more!

I hope you have a great day.

Best regards,
Benjamin V.

Hi, what module of the ZED SDK do you need for your work? The depth map or is the camera position is enough ?

I am trying to make an AR application, where i can place a 3D object in the image similar to the object-placment example

I see!

For the moment, only our Unity plugin can do that on Ubuntu.

The issue is the C# sdk is Windows only, which limits calling functions from the sdk inside of Unity.

Most of the functions of the ZED SDK should be also available in Unity. Do you have an example in mind?

Are Local Video Streaming functionalities available? Having a ROS2 robot streaming video and depth with the C++ skd and receiving the stream on the game engine side is my main issue atm.

Yes sure, you can either start a stream or receive one from the Unity plugin
