For each type and member described in the XML, there is an ILAsm and C# signature pair. These are intended to be equivalent and to provide sufficient information to allow these types and members to be implemented correctly. Each signature pair shows both the low-level and one high-level view of these signatures. However, as written in the XML, the members of a given pair of signatures are not always written in an equivalent manner, even though they are intended to produce identical behavior.
