Short summary: After restarting Orca on Windows, the app comes back already in an agent /resume (or equivalent restored TUI) state. There is no obvious setting to disable this auto-restore behavior.
What happened?
On Windows, relaunch lands the session in a resumed agent state (/resume visible / session restored). Users cannot find where to turn this off.
Steps to reproduce
- Use Orca on Windows with an active agent session.
- Quit and relaunch Orca.
- Observe that a previous agent session is auto-restored into a resume-like state.
Expected behavior
- Either no auto-resume unless configured, or
- A clear setting to disable “restore agent sessions on launch,” easy to discover.
Actual behavior
App restarts into /resume (or restored agent TUI) without a discoverable toggle.
Additional context
Related session restoration on Windows: #11340, #11143. This report focuses on unwanted auto-resume + missing discoverable toggle.
Please comment with: exact Orca version, Windows version, which agent (Claude/Codex/etc.), and a screenshot of the restored state.
