How to load cross-site images?

My images are hosted on another domain.

That is why images fail to load:

Is it possible to relax the referrer policy?

This is a hosting issue, not a Material for MkDocs issue. You likely need to adjust the headers that your web server adds.

I doubt that GitHub's CDN on Amazon allows to fetch images from outside GitHub to avoid being used as some sort of "data bank".

The link after the redirect has no content policy, but does have an expiration token:

Makes sense, guess I have to host my images myself somewhere. :)

It' easier a MkDocs Livereload Server or web server issue, but nothing we can fix here 😅

Also note that there's a related issue over at MkDocs + a PR to allow for specifying headers, but no reaction from the maintainer yet... From my observation, MkDocs moves very, very slow right now, but I might be wrong.

@squidfunk I am really starting to think this is a MkDocs for Material issue.

When I do a hard refresh, images load. When I then do a soft refresh, images fail to load.

When I kill the service worker and do a soft refresh, images load again...

LOL it was a service worker on localhost:8000 for another project. 🤦
