what this is saying is that you need to make some additions to Home Assistant's configuration to get signenstore to work with predbat If you look at the YAML below it comprises of:
you can manually add these directly to predbat by editing the configuration.yaml file (using either the File Editor or Studio Code server editor addons, details in the apps.yaml part of the documentation) alternatively you can configure these through the home assistant GUI. You go into settings / devices and services / helpers and create the input_select and input_number helpers there I'd suggest looking at videos from Smart Home Junkie on youtube |

Thank-you v much for answering! I tried adding them as a block to the configuration.yaml for Home Assistant, which has very little in it natively currently. - But it didn't appear to be formatted correctly (Red Exclamation mark warning) so I did not save. Ill have a look at the videos on the youtube channel you suggest. |

Evening all
I am starting to get Predbat installed on my HAOS VM.
I am very new and have managed install most aspects (Octopus Energy, MyEnergi, Sigenergy Modbus integration)
I am, however, completely stuck on the part where I need to modify the Home assistant configuration or Package yaml.
google and forums are failing to enlighten me !
"The following additions are needed to facilitate integration with Predbat and need to put put in Home Assistant configuration.yaml or a package yaml:"
But I do not understand how to do this correctly ?
Any help? Links ?Guides?
