I do three open source things:

  1. Keeping cool ruby libraries accessible to new programmers.

  2. Adding back the magic of Objective-C to Swift, but with the syntactical clarity of Ruby.

  3. Fixing installation instructions at the top of README files on github. Fixing broken sample code in README files on github.

People can't learn the joy of programming if they have to fight with gcc for 8 months just to try out a library. Beginner programmers are (literally) the future. Let's help them help us.
