I'm building mesh-llm: an open source system for pooling compute across machines so people can run large language models locally, privately, and collaboratively.

Instead of assuming AI must live behind centralized cloud APIs, mesh-llm lets users connect their own hardware into a shared mesh. It supports distributed inference, GPU pooling over QUIC, OpenAI-compatible APIs, model routing, local-first workflows, and staged serving through the embedded Skippy runtime.

Hardware Donations / Cloud Access

Mesh-LLM requires many different platforms for inference hardware. We are currently in need of hardware for:

  • Nvidia (Blackwell CUDA 13.x +) devices
  • AMD (ROCm 7.2+) devices
  • Intel (any Arc devices, we currently have no support)

Once software development and support are finalized for each , these devices will be placed on the public mesh, for EVERYBODY to use.
