Hi there, I'm Karl, a programmer and teacher trying to get people into tech 👋

My work involves both

• building products with new libraries
• debugging problems with beginner students

This leads to contributions to foundational projects in the web ecosystem, such as Next.js, TypeScript, Yup, Postgres.js and many more:

• creating issues and documenting problems with reproductions
• creating demo projects with solutions
• contributing solutions in pull requests

In addition to this, I build open source tools and resources for programming students (repositories under my own username and also under @upleveled repositories), in order to allow students to both verify quality in their projects and learn new skills.

Lastly, in my interactions with the open source community I often find new people or projects which should be highlighted. I try to also support here, both in awesome-speakers and on social media.
