My hobby is my job and vice versa. My mission is to make the work of all developers (myself included) more productive and enjoyable. I have a special affinity for code quality, stability, and legacy software, and consider no code base to be unmaintainable 💪.

I mostly work on the Firebase Admin SDK for PHP and related libraries, but also like to create projects in my personal and the BESTE namespace, and regularly contribute to other Open Source projects.

Have a look at my GitHub profile for an up-to-date overview of my last contributions.

Friendship 🧑‍🤝‍🧑

You're an individual developer and use my software in personal projects or at work. You wish you could convince your boss to make Open Source work more sustainable, but since they are not really into it, you want to support me out of your pocket.

From one developer to another: thank you!

BFFs 🙌🏻

You would take the previous tier, but it doesn't feel like enough. If you're using my software as an employee in your start-up/company, let me tell you: it is more than enough, go with the previous tier, and I'll be forever thankful.

If you want to go the extra mile, convince your employers that they really should make Open Source work more sustainable - their contribution would be just another line item on their GitHub invoice.

From one developer to another: thank you very, very much!

Teamwork 🤝🏻

You're a freelancer or a small team of developers and rely on my work for… your work, be it for your own start-up/company or for client work. I maintain a part of your software stack and you want to make sure I'm motivated to continue doing so. This sponsorship tier doesn't cut too deep into your own budget, so you're willing to make a fellow developer feel appreciated.

Serious Business 🧑🏼‍💻

My software helps you make money and you realize that this sponsorship tier is far cheaper than hiring someone to do the same work. You might consider going with one of the higher tiers, but you first want to see if the money goes to my head. Believe me, I'll be thankful either way and will show it to you!

How would you feel about finding your company's name with a link to your website in the README of a project of your choice? Because that's what you'll get!

Tax declarations are hard 💸

If you keep this tier for at least a year, I'll start having to declare taxes - but, please, don't let this stop you!

In return, I'll include your name, logo, and a link to your website in a repo of your choice and on my own GitHub profile. Also, I'll keep telling my friends about you - yes, I have friends, and most of them work in our industry, yours and mine.

But in all seriousness: thank you, I really appreciate it!

I'm in awesome company! 🏛️

There's no other way to say it: My software keeps your business running, nothing more, nothing less. You know how much time and money software development can cost and you appreciate that I'm an extended part of your team, in a way.

You'll have a direct support line with me to help you with matters related to my software.

PS: You can always choose a custom sponsorship amount if this tier doesn't seem enough :person-wiggling-their-eyebrows:

PPS: I might appear silly in my sponsorship tier descriptions, and I sometimes use too many emojis, but I'm also a professional. Really!
