Become a sponsor to Marcus Wood
I'm the original author of elixir faker package, Homebrew Core Maintainer and generally active contributor to Ruby, Elm, Elixir and all other ecosystems.
In addition to my coding skills, I try to help beginners to get involved by creating issues for them and make their experience great and welcoming. I give beginner-oriented talks at meetups. I also mentor people online and in person.
Why sponsor me?
I try to do as much FOSS as possible, yet I do it in my own free time after work and on the weekend. This inevitably leads to burn out. Most of websites, apps and software in general built with open source. It needs to be sustainable. If you believe in that too, but don't have time or skills, you can use your money to sponsor me or people like me and help us sustain open source.
Conflict of Interest
Mainly it's related to Homebrew, but the rules are generic. By sponsoring me, you understand that I'll try to help you on my best effort basis, while it does not guarantee that you get the result you wanted (for example, if a formula is not acceptable by Homebrew guidelines, I will not merge it). Also, if I feel that this is important, I may disclose information that you are sponsoring me with other maintainers.
