Become a sponsor to Gavin Nugent
I'm Gavin — I make NO SIGNAL, a channel about Linux gaming and creative workflows, and I write the tools that come out of it.
Every repo here started as a problem I hit on camera. SteamOS won't install on an NVIDIA card, so I built a one-click USB installer that compiles the driver against the image's own kernel. Omarchy had no Gaming Mode, so W.O.P.R. and DeckShift put Steam Big Picture behind a keybind. DaVinci Resolve ships broken on half the distros people actually use, so there are now installers for Arch, AMD RDNA 4, Intel Arc, Mint, Pop!_OS, openSUSE and Rocky.
60 repos, ~270 stars, all of it Shell, Go and QML, all of it MIT, none of it behind a paywall.
What sponsorship actually pays for is hardware and hours. Testing "install SteamOS on any RTX PC" means owning several RTX PCs. Benchmarking CachyOS against Bazzite against SteamOS means four clean installs and a weekend of MangoHud logs. Supporting a script after release means answering issues from people running configurations I've never seen.
If something here saved you an evening of forum archaeology, that's what you're funding.port 28allday's open source work
