I have some questions about this dots and Niri in general.

1. Can I install Conflict-Free alongside Hyprland Original End-4?
2. Are there conflicts with Hyprland Steups or only with Quickshell?
3. Is it suitable for gaming?
4. Is there still an overview of the keybinds?
5. How can I change the keyboard layout and keybinds in advance? I use a DE QWERTZ keyboard and don't have a direct / key, so I usually set it to - in Hyprland.
6. Does fingerprint recognition work?
7. Does “linux-wallpaperengine” work? What about mouse interactions with the background?
8. Is there also a “Float/Tile” function/switch?

1. I am pretty sure you cannot use it along hyprland end-4 unless you make both quickshell profiles install seperately or something (idk if you can do that but i have a feeling it will involve a lot of restructuring config files). On the software side i don't think they will conflict much. End 4 doesn't work with niri but iniR does work with hyprland but yk less features on hyprland.
2. Nah it only conflicts with quickshell to my knowledge. And some other configs for like matugen and terminal themes. Basically theme configs, and shell configs ig.
3. Very suitable for gaming, personally i have a better gaming experience in niri than hyprland in general.
4. Yes there is a keybinds overview and they are also listed in settings. Sadly you cannot customize the overview like end-4 yet.
5. Keyboard layouts I don't think there is a way to set it before install. But the keybinds can be changed in niri config, and the layout too maybe (check niri config documentation its really good and well explained).
6. I have no idea you might have to check this one on the niri docs.
7. I dont use it so I don't know
8. Yes its meta+a, also you can add window rules for that in configs for specific apps.

Sorry if this is not clear enough but I hope you got something from this. And again niris documentation is very easy to read and understand unlike hyprlands scattered docs.
Also I am assuming you are on niri, I do not know how the dotfiles behave on hyprland.
