Just outputs 'InvalidConsumer()' even after several corrections . Is this possibly a file issue ?

Invalid Consumer is Mostly because if we didn't add our smart contract address in VRF Chainlink Consumer

So as the error suggest, we did not add our Lottery contract as consumer to VRFCoordinator. If you do want to use the latest version of @chainlink/contracts (in my case is ^0.6.1). I updated my 01-deploy-lottery.js, after Lottery contract is deployed. I added this:

I wonder why we need to declare vrfCoordinatorV2Mock again. Didn't we already declare it above?

Above it was declared in the if block so that variable isn't available outside of the if. You don't need to declare it again if you do something like this:

Hello, I cannot seem to access the methods of VRFCoordinatorV2Mock

When I try to call createSubscription() it says it is not a function same goes for addConsumer() method

Hi, I am stuck exactly at this point, I have added consumer but still get this error . It points to @chainlink/contracts/src/v0.8/mocks/VRFCoordinatorV2Mock.sol:89
which is error InsufficientGasForConsumer(uint256 have, uint256 want);

I found a way to solve it inside solidity itself, you can even have to pass subscription id when deploying the contract. Check out this answer. smartcontractkit/chainlink#7982 (comment)
