Describe the solution you'd like

As I understand it 4J simply used a wrapper to translate OpenGL calls to DirectX. I suggest this should be removed as 4J did this to have it run on the Xbox and it may simplify the code base by removing unneeded things. This would also make it easier to port to other platforms.
