LED Light Bar Microphone Status (Muted)

I have a light bar above my desk that I use for notifications. I'd like to set it up to turn green when my mic is active and not muted during a call, and red when it is muted. I see there is a microphone status sensor, but it is only on/off. Is there a way to get mute status?
