Hi there - can you be specific? How are you using the podcast guid? And do you have some example podcast measured by OP3 to check? |

E.g. this guid c14a9472-0144-451e-9db2-a7f3b1a2da6f produces an 404 error, although it is valid by op3 search. |

That show's stats page is here: https://op3.dev/show/3e485a7847df41bab0517f1598e1b1e4 Every show has a stable internal OP3 uuid that never changes, used as the suffix in that link instead of the guid. Podcast guids, while perhaps a good idea in theory, have turned out to be a disaster in practice, since feed generators simply can't seem to grasp the concept. Duplicate/changing podcast guids are worse than not having them at all. And of course most feeds don't declare them in the first place. If a show has messed up their podcast guid, you can always find the stable OP3 show uuid using the api (https://op3.dev/api/docs#tag/shows/operation/viewShowInformation) using the feed url, then using the show uuid going forward. I may end up ditching defaulting to the podcast-guid-based link in that setup page as well, and just use the OP3 show uuid-based links there instead. |

Hi,
we´ve detected a bug at our podlove plugin, which caused the same guid for different podcasts at the same installation, which was solved today. Now every podcast has again its own GUID. Does op3 recognize this automatically? Any kind of matchig prior stats / analytics would not be possible?
