Innovation is only complete if it can address a problem that has been hitherto unaddressed even if only for a few or marginalised section of the society we live in. The idea of AzurePay sprouts from one such imbalance that the system in India and may be world is struggling to cope with: efficient utilisation and accountability of funds disbursed for agricultural distress. In India, for the past few years there has been a trend of farm loan waiver. While there are genuine claimants for it there are also true reports of the farm loans being diverted for non-agricultural purposes and putting tremendous stress on the economy besides giving an impression that governments have not been doing enough for the agrarian sector. AzurePay answers this by providing a QRCode Scanner only mechanism for payment/use of funds from the loan account of farmers for agriculture related products.

The product idea is novel in its way that despite the presence of tremendous digital footprint in the payment sector no financial entity has so far really focused holistically on this problem. AzurePay does just that rather than being another payment wallet.
