One possible fix is in PR #7. Alternative fixes could be to dynamically change the same css attributes.

Any clue about styling in Angular2 why the menuBar appears in 2d why style is not applied?

This might have been caused due to navigation related changes in alpha.6 version of bootstrap. Waiting for @dcsw , Will merge #7 if it fixes the issues
