Customize checked-icon in sl-menu-item

Hi,

Shoelace beta 71 has a breaking change:

BREAKING: removed checked-icon part from in preparation for parts refactor

Before this we styled the icon as checkbox to match the filter layout

Now without part(checked-icon): how is it possible, to apply styles to the icon?

Any hints, ideas?

They weren't removed, but moved from a wrapping <span> to the SVG to be consistent with other components. You can still target and style them, and there are a couple examples in my comment here: #786 (comment)

I think we are talking past each other.

With beta71 it is no longer possible to style the checked icon of a <sl-menu-item>.

There the part comes back ... ok. I have to update more versions 😄
