Typescript Type Definitions

The latest version, beta 65, comes without typescript definitions.

I didn't see anything in the changelog regarding this, was this an intentional change?

Thanks for reporting this. The root cause was a config regression introduced in #647.

It's been resolved in beta.67, which was just released.

I just tried the latest version. It's better, but I am still having a couple of issues.

Here are the errors I am getting now.

Error: ../node_modules/@shoelace-style/shoelace/dist/components/dropdown/dropdown.d.ts:2:25 - error TS2307: Cannot find module '~/components/menu/menu' or its corresponding type declarations.

Another user was seeing that too. We went from relative paths to a path alias. I'm not sure how to tell consuming libs how to follow them. Maybe @CreativeTechGuy has some insights here.

For now, you should be able to add skipLibCheck to your tsconfig.json.

We were missing a type declaration path transformation in the build. That has been added in this PR: #669 which will fix the root issue described here.

This is available in 2.0.0-beta.68 which was just released.
