Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The latest release, objection 1.11.0, was published in April 2021, over four years ago. Significant development work has taken place since then, but is not accessible without installing from source.

Describe alternatives you've considered
It seems like the best option currently is for all users to install from GitHub, contrary to the instructions in the README.

With the move to Frida 17, it seems like very good timing to actually publish a new release.

Is there a roadmap of what needs to be done before a new release is published? Would it be possible to create a milestone and assign tickets so the community can help out?

At this point the main branch should have everything for Frida 17, though I still need to fully test and merge #743.
I think we are most of they way there overall to do a 1.12 release, but ultimately @leonjza will have to say if there are specific additional things he wants added before a new release. He does want to somewhat automate the actual release process though with github actions such that future releases would be easier though. I just hope he still has his pip creds after four years XD.

Given the fact that objection currently doesn't work with the latest Frida, and the fact that the API / commands have changed, maybe it's even worth doing a 2.0 release? That way <2.0 stays compatible with Frida <17. It also shows that the project is actively developed again.
