On a test device, I had initially set up Seedvault to back up to the external microSD card. Not having used the device for a while, I had the card removed. Now, having bootet it up to use it as test device again, I get constant errors about failing backups. Their failure is understandable, as the backup medium is no longer present. Not having the card at hand, I'd like to temporarily disable Seedvault – but found no way to do so. The only option I get, is to select another backup medium.
Did I miss something, or is that option missing entirely? And shouldn't backups be simply skipped when the medium is not present – instead to send notifications continuously (multiple times a day, each time with a "noise")? I've searched the issues here, and the same problem was marked solved in 2022, which confuses me a bit.
Any way to disable backups (without wiping data)? In case it's relevant: Seedvault version on that device is 15-5.6.
