The user gets logged out on refreshing the logged in page

Describe the bug
When the user uses the react part of the app the user gets logged out on refreshing the app

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Log in the react app
2. Refresh the app
3. See error

Expected behavior
The user should remain logged in unless logged out
