Hi,
why is it not possible to run the Installation with CentOS or Redhat?
Is there a way to run the pkg installation with CentOS or Redhat? Not only debian and Ubuntu?

Thanks

Or any other OS, I use saltstack mainly to uniformly deploy.
This formula makes checks for debian family and deploys a config or not on basis of that.
I guess it needs a rewrite as this seems more a proof of concept than a full formula.

@ghovat This formula (as many others) is heavily based on the work of volunteers. If the contributors didn't implement for CentOS or RedHat, then there's no support.

In #20 I further isolated Debian-specific states. It should be easier then to implement CentOS/RedHat support. But still: someone actually using those systems has to submit a PR. :-)
A first step would be to add OS-specific values in the icinga2/*.yaml files which are then merged according to icinga2/map.jinja.

@mgomersbach I isolated Debian-specific states in #20, but still: someone needs to write a PR for CentOS/RedHat.
