assume I have a function that uses xawait, and I called it without using xasync or xawait, what happens, does it crash?

If you’re inside a coroutine, then it’d be fine. Within a coroutine everything looks like a regular blocking call. You only need to think about xasync and xawait if you want concurrency within that coroutine. However you have to setup a root coroutine in main. If you try to call suspend or xawait from main it’ll crash. You have to be within a coroutine to use suspend.
