MEAN stack http://mean.io/ is a framework based on MongoDB + Express + AngularJS + Node.js for building dynamic data-driven web applications.

The example could configure the MEAN with several (load-balanced) Express servers and with MongoDB replica sets running on several IaaS VMs.

MEAN's prerequisites are Node.js, NPM, Bower, MongoDB.
