You need to tweak the user agent as specific override in about:config, currently AF identifies as mobile, for better support. Full desktop mode works, but has some limitations and is also quite heavy-weight.
I don't know a way to force it in YT interface, @Putt2551.
But you can force it by tweaking the user-agent. Go into about:config and set general.useragent.override.youtube.com to e.g. Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:48.0) Gecko/20010101 Goanna/40.0 Firefox/48.0 Arcticfox/40.0
