Gestures stop working after Liking FB post

The following happens intermittently but frequently.

Scroll down your time-ordered FB feed. Like a few posts. After one of the Likes, gestures will cease responding, so unable to scroll, pinch etc. Have to exit the app (either with Back button, or swiping from recent apps list) and restart app in order to resume. The app generally then behaves ok but the issue is likely to recur if using the app again later in the day or the next day.

This has been an issue for as long as I've been using the app, which is a couple of months.

This is on a Pixel 8 with latest version of Android 14 and latest version of of app.

Exactly same problem here.
Any Like make scrolling freeze, it doesn't work after that, except you can click on visible buttons but that's all you can do. Quit app and relaunch is the only solution.

Edit: version 10.1.1 via F-Droid.
