Description
I'm working on a project where I need to run several thousand instances of HYSPLIT. From my own experimentation, I've found that it's quicker to create a single control file for multiple starting points and heights on the same date at the same time than to create a new control file for each run. I was just wondering whether there is a particular reason for hysplit_trajectory() to create a control file for each run individually, whether it's just for clarity/convenience or whether you'd caution against running the executable on a control file with lots of starting points.
Many thanks!
