allow usage of the g'mic smooth filters to smooth images, input is series either dicom or png dir, output is png dir of the images run thru the user selected smooth filter. Cleans up images, might be helpful for a researcher trying to get printer-friendly scans.
Could be cat, MRI, x-ray; could be neuro, could be ortho, could be cardio-thoracic, or it could be output from a different type of plugin that transformed some medical image in another way. I wouldn't make too many assumptions on what the input is though, because this is meant to be a generic tool.
Hello again @GeoEducator , we're just doing the initial issue set up now and not ready for contribution yet. I suggest we wait for the hackathon mid September. But you are free to try out building these plugins on your own if you are interested!
