Using HDR by default. And when switching from non-HDR game back to desktop HDR mode - HDR brightness is too dim, on minimal brightness level. Moving HDR/SDR balance slider in settings restores the HDR brightness, but had to do it every time. It would be great to have correct HDR brightness level restore from fullscreen game non-HDR mode and as a plus own HDR brightness slider - if it's possible of course) Thanks!

Hi. I'm not sure my tool is the right place for that... For the time being, I want to keep it simple, focusing on simply reporting/switching between SDR and HDR mode, but not changing any mode-specific settings.
Beyond that, detecting whether the required HDR mode would be "Desktop" or "Game" - ie, "is a game running?" - is relatively complicated and something I don't want to deal with.
(Since personally I'm using SDR mode for the desktop, this issue may affect me without me noticing it.
If I ever switch to desktop HDR, and encounter the issue, the tune above may change.)

It would be awesome if you added this functionality as I have to adjust the HDR content brightness slider on a regular basis due to the varying peak luminance of HDR videos.

Something like using the mouse wheel when hovered over the tray icon to adjust up and down, with a tooltip to show the current value, would be great UX.
