I would like to create a rehype plugin that can convert a tweet to a static tweet.
With website speed being a very big thing for me, it's super annoying that Twitter's embed slows down pages quite a lot.

It also doesn't really benefit much from knowing the number of likes as a tweet for me should focus on the content.
Therefor I would like to have a rehype plugin that can convert something like {{ tweet 12122334 }} to a static version using the Twitter API for fetching.

Would love to hear if anyone would be interesting in something like this.
