How do you remove Pulse from a Proxmox VE node after installing it with the setup script?

You can remove it by running the installer again with the uninstall flag. The script handles stopping the service, disabling the timers, wiping /opt/pulse and /etc/pulse, removing the systemd units, and deleting the pulse user if nothing else is using it.

curl -sSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/rcourtman/Pulse/main/install.sh | bash -s -- --uninstall

If you'd rather not pipe straight to bash, download first:

curl -sSLO https://raw.githubusercontent.com/rcourtman/Pulse/main/install.sh
chmod +x install.sh
sudo ./install.sh --uninstall

After it finishes, systemctl status pulse-backend (or pulse.service, depending on which unit is present) should report that the unit no longer exists. From there you can clean up any leftover custom configs or logs manually if needed.
