We need to ensure that the platform has the best possible usability across multiple devices. The rescue and request pages must be optimised to be accessed from hand held devices and must be easy to access for all age groups.

Mobile-first approach for the user groups 1. Public 2. Volunteers. Please go through the attached document. ( pdf file)The main points are Information architecture and navigation-related.
I have designed a couple of screens with minimum change to your existing design, hope it will make a better user experience. Make it responsive or adaptive for mobiles. read the document for more details...Will send the desktop layout soon.
