Hey @AymenFJA - I have the following requests for this repository.

• establish a devel branch
• make sure that all development branches are in sync with that devel
• make sure that only devel is being merged into main
• add a test suite

Reason for those: I wanted to merge some older changes to the hackathon branch which I had still lying around, and realized that the branch is out of sync with main. A merge causes a large number of conflicts, and when trying to resolve those I have no means to check if the result is viable due to missing tests.

I know that applying all that is quite some work, but it's easier now than later... Let me know if I can help with any of the items!

@andre-merzky I totally agree. This is something that needs to be addressed ASAP. I will do that.
