This could be a decent length essay unto itself. But I guess: No, there's no "maintained, small write up somewhere regarding the choice of the underlying Rust libraries that are used". |
This issue has been waiting for a reporter response for 3 days. It will be auto-closed if no activity occurs in the next 5 days. |
Would this not be a useful endeavor then in comparison to the effort it would require? |
You asked if it was documented, the answer is its not. Are you asking for it to be documented? (My strong impression is that we have a basically bimodal user base: a large majority who have no views as to where our crypto comes from, and a minor who have very strong views on where it should come from and don't much care what we think :-)) |
If it's not too troublesome I would very much appreciate such documentation! |
I'm curious if there is a maintained, small write up somewhere regarding the choice of the underlying Rust libraries that are used. Specifically, I'm coming from this comment and am wondering about aws-lc-rs.
