Contributions, including AI-assisted contributions, are welcome. Except for trivial fixes such as typos, start with an issue and agree on the problem and approach before implementing a change.
Contributors are responsible for understanding, testing, and maintaining their proposed changes through review. Changes to AWS behavior require relevant integration tests in the contributor's own AWS environment; external-fork pull requests must not be run against the project's AWS environment. If you cannot perform the required validation, discuss that in the issue before starting implementation.
