can't open PO files - the app displays error: not a .po file.

on my desktop computer i can edit PO files easily with 'Poedit'
on my mobile. when trying to open the same file i get: 'the file does not seem to be a PO file' error
what can i do?

Thanks. I've heard people mention this once or twice before, but now I have a file that actually triggers the problem. I'll have a look at what might cause this.
