Alertmanager receivers tend to be orientated towards paging people, rather than logging data for auditing purposes. I would recommend, if you do want to store alerts in a database, implementing a webhook and writing alerts to that database, or using an existing open source project like alertsnitch. |

Hello, I want to do persisitency after alertmanager components in database such as postgres. I found a project called alertsnitch, but it is not good. Why does alertmanager‘s receiver not support databases?
