pride add runs even with invalid repo

I tried to add a repo with a typo in the name. I got an error message, but pride went ahead and reinited(?) all existing modules in the pride. I would expect pride to fail. 1) it takes a while to reinit pride, 2) i did not notice the error message among all the output.
