Same plugin on different computers but getting different results

Our repo is currently having a brawl between adding and removing an extra space between function and its (). My VS Code Prettier Extension seems to want to remove it and my co-workers Prettier extension seems to want to add it.

My co-worker just added Prettier as a Pugin for VS Code and mine has been in place for a while. I know this space is a change in the new Prettier version.

How do I get my Prettier Plugin to do the space (use the new version)? Both our plugins are on v9.10.4

The project doesn't yet have any linting or prettier npm/configs. Maybe we just need to ad a .prettierrc file with the version to use?
