When talking about Keptn these days we have two major trajectories.
1: The Keptn we have developed over the past years that you can trigger from your existing CI/CD tooling.
For ArgoCD you could for instance use the ArgoCD post-deploy webhooks and then trigger a Keptn Sequence
that would then e.g: run your SLO evaluation
OR
2: The Keptn Lifecycle Toolkit which we have announced at KubeCon 2022 in Detroit. The Lifecycle Toolkit
uses a different technical approach as it hooks into your k8s scheduler and allows you to exeute pre- and
post-deployment checks INDEPENDANT of the deployment tool you use and WITHOUT having to integrate
it with the particular tool (in your case ArgoCD) becase we extend the k8s scheduler and are therefore part
of the core control plane.
The reason why we are building the lifecycle toolkit is because we had many people that use ArgoCD/Flux
ask us about a more cloud-native approach to what we do in Keptn. Thats why I think you should look into the
Lifecycle TOolkit first.
