Cannot select manually installed font #859

Download a TTF file, copied it to /usr/share/fonts/downloads
cd /usr/share/fonts/downloads
sudo fc-cache -f .
Logout and login to cosmic
Open font settings
Installed font is missing

I also had the font installed by KDE as a "system" font and was being used as my default in KDE. However, cosmic wont detect this font.

OS: Cachy (Arch based)
Cosmic version: cosmic-settings 0.1.0 (from cachy os repo)
system shell: fish
