Address scrolling on mobile interacting with the grid

**What needs refactoring?**
When a user on mobile scrolls while on the painting page, the scrolling action will paint on the grid. This should ideally be fixed, but it might require some reworking of core logic on that page.

**Why?**
It can be confusing to users if their scroll gesture doesn't do what they intended.
